You have a minute and a half to reach the top, but as you climb, Fukuro's snowballs become harder to avoid and some of the stones you landed on before disappear, leading you back to their last checkpoint. It is definitely one of the more difficult events, but patience and focus are key to success. The archery event can be accessed from the northwestern section of the island, and has Lucky go up against the Legendary Champion of Archery, Yoichi.

Their dojo is found near a small boat village, and contestants must shoot various targets that move along the river bank. So long as you score higher than Yoichi, you will win the challenge. The event is rather challenging as there are many different types of targets that give different points. It is easy for Yoichi to quickly accumulate points by hitting every target he sees, especially the small red fans that give 50 points and the explosives that can hit multiple targets at once.

The best strategy is to follow where he goes and try to get to the targets closest to Yoichi before they do. The Artistic Swimming event is probably the most unlike any of the others, as it is a full-on rhythm minigame. You will be dancing along to a remixed version of the game's main theme beside the Legendary Champion Princess Otohime. Venture to the western portion of the island to access this game in the water town inhabited by plenty of aquatic creatures like Kappas and turtles.

The minigame itself is fairly straightforward, and you can use the arrow keys to represent the button inputs. It starts off rather easy, but gradually speeds up as the song goes on. Keeping hands on the keys at all times and memorizing where each key is will be much better, so you may have to lose a few times before getting the muscle memory right.

Just stay on beat and victory will follow! The southeastern portion of Champion Island is where you'll find the beach, where you can challenge a group of energetic and spry Kijimuna spirits to a full-on marathon!

This is perhaps the most straightforward of the minigames but also the easiest to mess up on if you get carried away. The goal is simple: outspeed in the other Kijimuna competitors and pass the finish line first, but this simple task is made a bit more complicated by the terrain and the obstacles in Lucky's path. While Lucky will automatically build up speed as she runs along the winding sand path and can easily move past the other runners, obstacles like crabs and octopuses can stand in the way and catch her by surprise if she moves around them.

But, by paying closer attention to the obstacles as opposed to the Kijimuna to better move along the path, you'll find this event to be a breeze. This event is all about speed and accuracy. Taking place in the northeastern wetlands of the island, you'll find yourself up against the formidable Tengu in an intense match of table tennis. The goal is to score at least 30 points by hitting the ball past them and not letting them pass Lucky as he moves along his side of the table, though it is a lot easier said than done.

The Tengu is fast, but luckily there a few tricks up this cat's sleeve you can use to outlast them. The game is mostly a battle of patience, as once you charge up the Power Shot meter on the bottom of the screen, you can unleash a super-strong swing that sends all balls flying across the table — even the ones that aren't close to Lucky.

Following the balls is more important than following the Tengu, and as long as you keep focused, victory is but one swing away!
