How do i program my universal remote urc-r6

We provided instructions to operate the remote, there are methods to program a universal remote control with your devices by using the specific tv codes for universal remote.

So follow the below steps if you already have the three digit or four digit or the five digit universal remote control codes with you then you can follow the below procedure. Universal remote controls are a dime a dozen these days, and I bought one as a backup to my other remotes. The only problem with these things is that you need to know the codes of the remotes you want to emulate, and these codes are usually in the manual.

Of course I tend to lose manuals like pens, so I figured I would input the codes here. If you have a remote for which you know the codes or a web page that lists them and are feeling generous, type them up and send me email; I will add them to this page so others can look here if they have lost their code list. You may wish to reload the page or refresh the browser to make sure you have the latest version of the document.

Note: None of this information is guaranteed to be correct. Use at your own risk. Sorry, if you can't find the codes or remote you need below, I don't have them. This manual is also suitable for: Avex r6. Print page 1 Print document 44 pages. Rename the bookmark. Delete bookmark? Cancel Delete. Delete from my manuals? Sign In OR. Don't have an account? Sign up! Restore password. Upload manual. Upload from disk. Last edited by Lindahl on October 2, I know it's been a while since there was a post to this thread, but I'm considering buying the WR7 as the R6 I purchased does not have enough memory to learn even a few commands from my Kenwood receiver remote.

I get Video 2 and 3 learned, but when on Video 4 I get 5 flashes saying no memory left. Stupid, a learning remote with not enough memory to learn anything!! So, I saw the WR7 has double the memory 64 vs. Has anyone run into memory or learning issues with the WR7? I don't want to order this online and have to pay return shipping as my local Best Buy does not carry this model.

I want to make sure it's going to work for me. The first place I saw the WR7 for sale was at Walmart, try them, if you don't like walk back in. Yeah, they too only carry it in certain stores, and my 2 Walmarts do not carry them. Picked up a WR7 from JR online. Exactly what I needed and I really like this remote over the R6.

The buttons seem laid out in a more efficient manner, and it doubled the memory so it can learn anything I throw at it. Seems to be more responsive too. I checked their website and the WR7 has double the memory of the R6 and made the difference.
